Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Iroko Technologies LLC (“Iroko”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a Boston, Massachusetts based software company. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data we collect through this website (irokotechnologies.com). It does not cover any data processed under a separate written agreement between Iroko and your organisation, which is governed by the terms of that agreement.

1. Information we collect

From website visitors. When you request a demo, submit a contact form, or otherwise correspond with us through this site, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, work email, job title, company name, and the content of your message. We use this information to reply to you directly; we do not add it to any marketing list.

Automatically, from technical infrastructure. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, requested path) in server logs for security and operational diagnostics. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to measure aggregate page-view counts. See Section 9 for details.

2. Legal basis for processing

For visitors in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, we rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR and EU GDPR:

  • Contractual necessity — responding to your demo request or enquiry.
  • Legitimate interests — operating and improving this website, fraud prevention, and network security, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required by law.

3. How we use your information

We use the personal data we collect through this website to:

  • Reply to your enquiry or demo request and schedule any follow-up conversation you have asked for
  • Operate, maintain, and improve this website
  • Measure aggregate, non-identifying analytics
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues, and comply with legal obligations

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters from this website, we do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal data only with the recipients we need to in order to operate, and only under appropriate contractual safeguards:

Service providers (subprocessors). We engage two third-party vendors to operate this website:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosts this website and provides Vercel Web Analytics.
  • Google LLC (United States) — delivers email submitted through our contact and demo forms via Gmail SMTP, so that we receive your message in our inbox.

If our subprocessors change, we will update this page. You can request our current list at any time from hello@irokotechnologies.com.

Professional advisors. Lawyers, auditors, accountants, and insurers, where their services require it.

Legal and regulatory authorities. Where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights or those of our users.

5. International data transfers

Iroko is based in the United States. If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the US. For such transfers, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable), together with supplementary technical and contractual measures provided by our subprocessors. You may request a copy of the relevant transfer mechanism by contacting us.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. In practice:

  • Contact and enquiry data — up to 24 months following your last interaction with us
  • Server logs — a short operational period, typically no more than 90 days

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Data security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process, including transport-layer encryption (HTTPS), access controls, and periodic review of our security practices. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have one or more of the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to fix data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal exceptions
  • Restriction or objection — ask us to stop or limit certain processing
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — under US state privacy laws; note that we do not sell or share personal data

We honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal (Sec-GPC: 1) as an opt-out request where applicable. To exercise any right, email hello@irokotechnologies.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site identifiers. We do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioural tracking technology.

Vercel Web Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service provided by our hosting platform, to measure aggregate page-view and visit counts. Vercel Web Analytics does not store any data on your device, does not use cookies or persistent identifiers, and does not track visitors across sites. Visit data is hashed at collection and discarded daily. For details, see Vercel’s Privacy Policy and their description of how Web Analytics handles data.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, path) for security and operational diagnostics. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to profile individual visitors.

Because we do not set tracking cookies and do not process personal data through cross-site identifiers, this site does not display a cookie consent banner. If we ever add cookie-based tracking in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent before any such tracking begins.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The current version will always be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will provide prominent notice on this website or contact you directly.
